Amazon FBA profit calculator
Enter what you paid and what it sells for. This works out the referral fee, the FBA fulfilment fee from your dimensions, VAT, the Digital Services Fee and your actual profit and ROI.
It also does the thing most Amazon profit calculators skip: if you are not VAT registered, you pay 20% VAT on every Amazon fee — referral, fulfilment, storage and the Digital Services Fee — and you cannot reclaim any of it. On a typical £20 arbitrage sale that is over £1 of pure cost that most calculators never show you, and it is often the difference between a deal that works and one that does not.
Run the numbers on a deal
Defaults are a typical arbitrage buy. Change them to your own and everything updates.
Estimates for Amazon UK FBA (rates as of February 2026). The fulfilment fee is worked out from the size tier when you enter dimensions and weight — the real fee can differ, so confirm the exact figures in Amazon's own Revenue Calculator / Seller Central before buying stock. Not tax or financial advice.
Four costs that quietly eat your margin
None of these show up in the ROI figure your scanner gives you.
VAT on Amazon's fees
Amazon charges 20% VAT on its own fees. Below the £90,000 threshold you cannot reclaim it, so it is a real cost. Almost no calculator models this.
The Digital Services Fee
2% on top of Amazon's selling and FBA fees in the UK. Small per unit, meaningful across a few hundred, and routinely left out.
Storage while it sells
Every month a unit sits, you pay rent on the space. Slow stock pays twice: tied-up capital and storage. Our storage calculator goes deeper.
Low-Price FBA
Items under £10 or £20 depending on category get cheaper fulfilment rates. Miss it and you underestimate your own margin.
Prep and inbound
Getting stock labelled and into a fulfilment centre costs money. Add yours and see whether the deal still stands up.
Your breakeven price
The number that matters when the buy box drops. If you cannot say what yours is, you cannot know when to stop repricing.
Checking one deal, or checking hundreds?
A calculator is for working something out properly. Sourcing means running the same maths over and over.
This page earns its keep when you are being deliberate — modelling a bulk buy, checking whether a supplier price stacks up, or working out your breakeven before you start repricing.
Sourcing is a different job. Whether you are walking a shop or working down a retailer's website at eleven at night, you need these numbers on every product without typing any of it.
Full disclosure: we build one. retailscout scans a barcode in store, and its browser extension reads the product page when you are sourcing online. Either way you get profit, ROI and margin on your own fee settings, plus live sales rank, price history and a buy score out of 100.

Knowing the number is the easy part
Working out whether a deal is worth buying takes sales rank, seller count and history too. That is what the mentoring and the community are for.
